UCLA Basketball: Schedule, Matchup Revealed For Bruins In Maui Invitational
There is a ton to be excited about in regards to your UCLA Bruins 2023-2024 hoops season that will be underway before we know it. Head coach Mick Cronin's journey for a national championship continues after a special season that ended early due to injuries to two of his most important starters in Jaylen Clark and Adem Bona.
However, UCLA has now re-loaded per usual and with the likes of Sebastian Mack, Devin Williams and more coming in, they'll be ready to get back to business. Let's also not forget that Bona will be running it back in Westwood for his sophomore season and the university is hopeful they'll land Aday Mara.
UCLA's officials schedule recently dropped so check that out here if you haven't already. On top of that, we also received the full bracket for the Maui Invitational and your Bruins will be facing off against none other than Marquette.
Beyond just UCLA and Marquette, other schools that will be participating in the tournament are Tennessee, Syracuse, Purdue, Gonzaga, Kansas and Chaminade. This tournament will give the Bruins the opportunity to face off against some of the top talent in the nation and show the world where they rank amongst them.
Marquette is coming off of a season that saw them ranked number two heading into the March Madness tournament only to get knocked out by Michigan State in the second round.ย
This match will be a part of UCLA's non-conference schedule but it is still very important that they take care of business and handle this like any other game. Traveling to Maui will be quite nice and they will get the chance to shine on a different stage than usual.
