In this story:

At 6-7, your UCLA Bruins have been one of the more disappointing teams in the country thus far, alongside their crosstown rival USC Trojans (also 6-7, but entered the season ranked far higher).

After dropping back-to-back conference games to the Oregon State Beavers and Oregon Ducks by 7 points and 5 points, respectively, the Bruins will face what should be an easier test in the 6-6 Stanford Cardinal on Wednesday evening.

"What should be an easier test," refers to the possibility that the outburst we saw from the Cardinal just a couple of nights ago against No. 4 Arizona (where they defeated them 100-82) could reflect their true potential.

Here's how to watch the 2nd to last regular season game between these two longtime conference foes:

Venue: Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom

Capacity: 13,800

Tipoff Time: 6:05 p.m. (PT)

Television: ESPN2

TV Talent: Roxy Bernstein (play-by-play), Sean Farnham (analyst)

Radio Broadcast (UCLA Sports Network): AM 1150

Radio Talent: Josh Lewin (play-by-play), Tracy Murray (analyst)

Betting aggregate The Action Network has the Bruins listed as 4-point favorites, which seems appropriate. Stanford has their signature win against Arizona, but beyond that, has only lost to one ranked team (at the time of the loss), falling to the likes of Santa Clara and Northern Iowa outside of that.

That said, they've lost to Michigan and Arkansas by a combined 8 points, while also defeating Cal State Northridge, who defeated the Bruins. We could be looking at a potential sleeper team that's a bit inconsistent – in which case, the Bruins could be in trouble.
