In this story:

College sports are changing right before our eyes as a number of top universities are set to make huge conference changes over the next couple of years and your UCLA Bruins have been caught in the mix as well as they will be moving to the Big Ten Conference.

UCLA first joined the Pac-12 conference back in 1928 but as they only grow bigger in terms of students and national audiences, they want to maximize their opportunities to continue growing their athletic foundations. This means playing on bigger stages and competing against some of the best schools in the country.

Your Bruins have been able to form some historic rivalries against schools in the Pac-12 conference and even though some of them may never be the same without the help of their usual schedules, CBS Sports' David Cobb hopes that UCLA continues their battles against Arizona for years to come.

"Mick Cronin and Tommy Lloyd are running two of the best programs in the sport -- evidence being that the only Pac-12 schools besides UCLA and Arizona to win a regular-season conference title in the past 12 years are

Oregon

and

Washington

. The Bruins own a league-best 32 conference titles. Arizona has the second-most with 17. So it would be a shame if these Pac-12 rivals declined to continue playing each other regardless of whether the Pac-12 actually exists moving forward, which is now very much in doubt."

"UCLA-Arizona feels like a big game almost always because it's a meeting between two programs that have won national championships and have all of the things in place to someday do it again. College basketball benefits when the best play the best."

We certainly hope to continues seeing both of these schools continue to go at it on the hardwood and agree that basketball fans would be the ones missing out if they stopped.

Obviously, your Bruins have bigger priorities in mind right now but hopefully something gets worked out next year!
