Mick Cronin and the men of the UCLA Basketball team set out on an overseas trip to Spain to play some exhibition games during the 10-day trip.

The trip has been used not only as a great team-bonding experience for the young men, mostly fresh faces but also as a way to build up chemistry on the court and get some quality games in before the start of the season.

After landing in Madrid the team traveled to Barcelona where they visited some historic European sites like the Sagrada Familia.

The overseas trip has looked to be a great time so far as the team has won their first two of the three scheduled matches, beating the Madrid All-Star with a final score of 76-68, and beating L'Horta Godella 85-66 at the end of last week.

Newcomer Lazar Stefanovic has performed well in these games dropping 23 points in his last game against L'Horta Godella. The transfer from Utah is looking to have a big year with the team and help contribute in a major way.

The trip is not all business as the team makes sure to visit things like historic sights and world-renowned aquariums.

Tour after tour as the team looks to learn about different cultures and the history of Spain.

The team will be returning to the States in a day as they will quickly start their fall season with an exhibition match against Cal State Dominguez Hills on October 31st.

Hopefully, the team bonding and overseas games prepare them for the upcoming season ahead of the new team.
