Dylan Andrews, 6'2 guard for the UCLA men's basketball team, is returning to Westwood for his sophomore season and he looks to build off of his freshman campaign where he showcased some potential in a limited role.

UCLA had numerous ball-handlers last season and that led to Andrews only logging about ten minutes per game while posting averages of about three points, one assist and one rebound. However, he will now be one of the few returners on a Bruins squad that needs a capable ball-handler and leader.

Andrews spoke to the media ahead of the Bruins' ten day tour in Spain and revealed that he does look forward to helping leading this new group in Westwood and shouted out a number of his former teammates for everything they did for him last season.

"I'm very ready to make that jump," said Andrews. "Just learning from older guys... the vets that came here in the past: Tyger, Jaime, Dave. I feel like they put me in a position to where I'm ready for this and to take this to the next level."

All of the guys he showed love to left their impact on UCLA's basketball program and became fan favorites during their time there. It's clear that Andrews hopes to take the next step in his journey as not just a star at the college level but also as an inspiration to the rest of his teammates.

Head coach Mick Cronin has made it clear that he wants to use this trip to Spain to allow the team to grow closer to one another and gain each other's trust. It will be great to see them finally hit the hardwood.
