The UCLA Bruins have had some busy months ever since 2023 started and it looks like their hard work is going to pay off fully. Everybody was beyond hyped seeing them start off their season 6-0 but a slew of injuries and inconsistent offense led to them losing that momentum.

Their quarterback position is already looking top-heavy and they made strides on the defensive end as well but what about offense? Well, look no further than Carson Steele coming from Ball State. He will take over at their RB slot immediately and bring forth yet another elite offensive skillset that will hopefully carry them late in the year when they are tired and struggling to generate runs,

Experts from ON3.com put together a preseason list looking at the best transfer moves made ahead of the new year and Steele's move to UCLA ranks near the top!

"Steele was awesome for Ball State last season, finishing sixth nationally in rushing with 1,556 yards and 14 touchdowns. The First-Team All-MAC standout should flourish in Chip Kelly’s run-first attack with the Bruins in 2023."

Steele is going to get plenty of looks with a new-look UCLA squad that is definitely going to prioritize getting as many touchdowns and first downs as possible. They want to put their name back on the map after some disappointing losses late in the year last season and Steele will undoubtedly be a huge part of that!
