UCLA Women's Basketball: All-Pac-12 Honoree Breaks Down New Docuseries

UCLA women's basketball star Kiki Rice is set to be featured in a four-part docuseries this year called "Full Court Press." Rice will be featured alongside Iowa's Caitlin Clark and South Carolina's Kamilla Cardoso. The docuseries, which will premiere on May 11 and 12 on ABC and ESPN+, follows these three players through the 2023-2023 season, including Cardoso and Clark facing off in the national championship game.

In a recent magazine feature with Galore by Taylor Winter Wilson, Rice detailed her excitement for the upcoming docuseries.

"This docuseries is going to provide a deeper understanding of who I am, my background, my family, and the life I lead as a student and athlete at UCLA," Rice said. "The team has been filming me all season, and I am excited for everyone to see it come to life in May! This was a new experience for me, but over time, I became more comfortable with cameras capturing the good and challenging times I’ve experienced this year."

Rice will be an exciting feature and should provide good insight into one of the best players on UCLA's basketball teams. Coming into UCLA, Rice was the Gatorade National Player of the Year and the Naismith Prep Player of the Year.

The standout sophomore continued to improve in her second collegiate season, helping to lead UCLA to a 27-7 record and to the NCAA Sweet 16. Rice averaged 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 44.9% from the field.

These were all an improvement from her freshman season when she averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 41.1% from the field. She made her first All-Pac-12 team, after making the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team the year before.
