After handily outplaying the Senegal A' U25 National Team in an 87-59 blowout on Wednesday, your UCLA Bruins women's basketball team followed that up with a disappointing 75-69 loss to pro club Alba Berlin on Saturday in the second game of their international exhibition jaunt, per a UCLA presser.

The Blue and Gold couldn't hold onto the good vibes from their Wednesday win, despite spirited scoring efforts from Charisma Osborne and Gabriela Jaquez. Osborne scored 16 points while shooting 5-of-11 from the field (3-of-6 from deep) and 3-of-4 from the free throw line, dished out four assists and swiped four steals (let's not talk about her five turnovers). Jaquez netted 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting from the floor and 6-of-9 shooting from the charity stripe. She also pulled down six rebounds, passed for three assists and stole the rock twice.

Although UCLA out-rebounded Berlin 36-29, the pro club's superior three-point shooting (43% on 10-of-23 shooting from deep, a far superior mark to UCLA's 4-of-18 showing for 22%) and free throw rate (68% on 11-of-16 shooting, better than UCLA's 54% on 23-of-42 shooting) ultimately made the difference.

In the most unfortunate news of the day, however, guard Kiki Rice incurred an injury in the game's first quarter, after just 4:41 of action, that will sideline her for the rest of the team's trip, which includes one final matchup.

The team will head to Munich for its last exhibition match of the trip, playing 6'4" junior redshirt forward Emily Bessoir's old club TS Jahn München.
