UCLA Women's Basketball: Bruins Duck Hunt in Win Over Oregon

Lauren Betts had a game-high 17 points.

The UCLA Bruins were in control from the tip and cruised to a 74-55 victory against the Oregon Ducks in Eugene on Sunday.

Charisma Osborne led the Bruins with an 11-point and 12-rebound double-double. Lauren Betts, Londynn Jones, and Kiki Rice all finished in double figures with 17, 15 and 10.

UCLA was shooting at will, going 30-for-79 from the field. The Bruins were 9-for-29 from the outside.

They forced Oregon into 16 turnovers and scored 22 points off those mistakes.

The Bruins drained three straight from behind the arc to open the scoring, with Jones knocking down two of them.

Betts scored six points in the first quarter and was 3-for-4 from the field.

Gabriela Jacquez joined in on the scoring in the second quarter with four points of her own.

The Bruins took a 45-28 lead into halftime, and then former Duck Angela Dugalic started the scoring in the second half.

The following sequence sums up the pace of play for the Bruins. Kiki Rice knocked down a three-pointer, and then Oregon turned the bowl over on the inbound.

UCLA returns home to face Utah on Thursday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
