Two of your UCLA Bruins women's basketball stars are apparently finalists to be named 2024 All-Americans.

According to UCLA Communications, sophomore center Lauren Betts and grad student shooting guard Charisma Osborne number are both still in the running on this year's All-America Watch List.

The dynamic duo is also in the running for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Player of the Year honor. They're the two best players on one of the best teams in the nation. The No. 8-ranked UCLA is currently 23-5 (12-5 in the Pac-12), and will square off against the 16-13 (8-9 in the conference) Arizona Wildcats tonight, starting right now. The Bruins are riding high on a four-game win streak. This marks their season finale.

Betts, a 6'7" transfer out of Stanford, is averaging 15.1 points on 66.4% field goal shooting (the fourth-best such conversion rate in the nation), 8.5 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and 0.8 assists. Her 205 total rebounds pace the club, as do her 51 blocks.

The 5'9" Osborne, a three-time All-Pac-12 honoree (soon to be a four-time All-Pac-12 honoree), is averaging 14.5 points on .418/.345/.889 shooting splits, 5.1 rebounds and four assists.

Iowa Hawkeyes superstar guard Caitlin Clark will probably snag the Ann Meyers Drysdale Player of the Year honor, but it's conceivable that one or both of Betts and Osborne makes the cut for an All-American team.
