UCLA Women's Basketball Makes Class of 2025 F Sienna Betts' Top 11

The Bruins are a contender to reel in the younger sister of Lauren Betts, who just transferred to Westwood in April.

A few months after adding one Betts, the Bruins could be on the verge of reeling in another.

Class of 2025 forward Sienna Betts revealed her top 11 semifinalists on Monday, and UCLA women's basketball made the cut. South Carolina, Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, UConn, Oregon, Arizona and Michigan are the other schools still in the hunt for Betts' commitment.

The 6-foot-3 prospect out of Grandview High School (CO) is the younger sister of Lauren Betts, who was the No. 1 players in the class of 2022 and just transferred from Stanford to UCLA in April.

Sienna Betts took an unofficial visit to UCLA all the way back in October 2021, which was before the start of her freshman season of high school. She returned to Westwood in January for another unofficial.

Sandwiching that visit were unofficials to North Carolina and Notre Dame in December and February, respectively.

Betts made MaxPreps' Sophomore All-American First Team this season, averaging 21.4 points, 16.5 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 60.6% from the field and 68.6% from the free throw line. She has helped lead the Wolves to back-to-back state championships.

As for AAU, Betts plays for Hardwood Evolution on the Adidas 3SSB circuit

Betts has been rated as a five-star recruit by espnW and Prospects Nation. In ESPN's HoopGurlz Terrific 25 Recruiting Rankings, Betts is the No. 1 player in Colorado, the No. 1 forward in the country and the No. 4 overall prospect in her class.

Of ESPN's six five-stars in the class of 2025, UCLA is now in the hunt for four of them – Betts, wing Jazzy Davidson, point guard Aaliyah Chavez and guard Keeley Parks.

The Bruins have added several top post players out of Colorado under coach Cori Close, with Michaela Onyenwere and Lauren Betts standing out as the most recent examples.

UCLA does not have any class of 2025 commits at the moment, but the 2024 class on its way to Westwood is shaping up to be one of the best in the country. With two guards and a wing serving as the base of that class, though, the program could be in need of more frontcourt talent by the time 2025 rolls around.

When Sienna Betts is a freshman in college, Lauren Betts will be a senior, meaning the sisters could play together for one season.
