Your undefeated (9-0, to be precise) UCLA Bruins women's basketball program has emerged as a real threat to go all the way in 2023-24, a season removed from a Sweet Sixteen berth last spring.

Per the team's official X/Twitter account, the club is already showing off its excellence on both ends of the hardwood this season. Accordingly, UCLA has been ranked as the No. 2 overall team in the Associated Press for weeks.

On offense, UCLA's 123.4 offensive rating isn't just the second-best in the Pac-12, it's the second-best in the entire NCAA. Their average of 92.7 points scored per game ranks fifth overall in the NCAA. Their 52% field goal conversion rate and their 22.7 assists per contest both rank third.

UCLA's 17.0 offensive rebounds grabbed per game is good for first in the Pac-12 and ninth in the entire NCAA, while their 48.9 rebounds per is the fifth-best in the college game. Their +22.8 rebound margin over opponents and 50% offensive rebound percentage both rank first in the NCAA.

Next up for Charisma Osborne, Kiki Rice, Lauren Betts and co. is a date with the No. 12-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, scheduled for this Monday at 3:30 p.m. PT.

A whopping six Bruins are currently averaging double-digit scoring: standout center Betts, a 6'7" sophomore transfer out of Stanford (17.0 points per, plus 9.2 rebounds), reserve Gabriela Jaquez (14.8), backup Londynn Jones (14.1), fifth-year guard Osborne (13.8), sophomore guard Rice (13.8), and junior forward Angela Dugalic (10.4)
