BIG EAST Announces Cancellation of UConn at Providence Game
The BIG EAST Conference has announced that the UConn at Providence men’s basketball game has been canceled due to COVID issues within the Providence program.
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced that the UConn at Providence men’s basketball game, which was scheduled for Saturday, January 15, has been canceled due to COVID issues within the Providence program.
Per the BIG EAST game cancellation policy, the Conference office will attempt to reschedule the game in accordance with the parameters of the policy.
UConn’s next scheduled game is Tuesday, Jan. 18, when the Huskies will play host to Butler at the XL Center in Hartford at 7 p.m.
