Football Player Profile: Nathan Voorhis, Defensive End
Nathan Voorhis
Defensive End
6'4" 230-Pounds
Stroudsburg, PA
Stroudsburg High School
ONE LINER
An edge rusher with tremendous size, quickness and strength, Voorhis possesses the frame and athleticism to compete for playing time in year one.
EVALUATION
A fast, athletic, explosive defensive end who owns an excellent frame with long arms and room to grow. Voorhis has a powerful bull-rush and strong hands, while flashing some rip and dip moves in his pass-rush repertoire. He plays with a high motor, is a solid wrap up tackler and can hold containment when needed. Voorhis can collapse the pocket or stuff the run but he will be expected to develop into a much-needed backfield disruptor for the Huskies.
QUOTABLE
“It definitely feels different being up there the second time with a new staff. It was just brand new, a lot of energy. A lot.” – Nathan Voorhis
