North Carolina returns to action on Saturday, as they play host to the Virginia Cavaliers in Chapel Hill, following a defeat of Notre Dame earlier in the week.

Despite the three-day hiatus, senior big man Armando Bacot has already returned to national television, making an appearance in Netflix's hit series 'Outer Banks.'

In the offseason, Bacot agreed to appear in season three of the blockbuster series, recruited by screen writer Josh Pate, who graduated from the University of North Carolina.

Bacot earned air time in just one episode, recording one line in the eighth installment of season three, which debuted on Feb. 23.

With the emergence of Name, Image, and Likeness in the world of collegiate athletics, Bacot took advantage of his success in the offseason, heading into what was expected to be a big year for the Tar Heels.

The Preseason ACC Player of the Year has continued his personal success as a senior, averaging a team-high 17.3 points and ACC-high 11.1 rebounds per game.

Bacot has also etched his name in the UNC basketball record books, as he now sits atop the program in career rebounds and double-doubles.

North Carolina is firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble at 17-11 overall and can earn their first Quad One on Saturday against the Cavaliers.

Expect Bacot, who can now add television star to his resume, to play a big role if the Tar Heels are to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
