Five-Star UNC Basketball Recruiting Targets Set to Visit Duke

Two UNC basketball offer holders will be in Durham to check out the Blue Devils this weekend.

Christopher Columbus High School (Fla.) junior twins Cayden and Cameron Boozer, who received UNC basketball offers in May despite being the sons of 2001 Duke basketball national champion Carlos Boozer, will be in Durham for an official visit with the Blue Devils this weekend.

Neither has visited the Tar Heels or announced plans for a trip to Chapel Hill yet. They've recently been to Florida, Kentucky, and hometown hopeful Miami.

The UNC basketball staff's ongoing pursuit of Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound five-star guard who ranks No. 17 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, and Cameron Boozer, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound five-star forward who sits at No. 2 in the class, feels like a long shot.

But the Boozer brothers, who have reported less than a dozen offers, have yet to name finalists. Both (no guarantee they will choose the same school) have expressed seemingly genuine interest in the UNC basketball program in past interviews.

And there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for either's recruitment.

Meanwhile, it's worth noting that former Tar Heel guard Caleb Love, who transferred to Arizona following three years at UNC, has a chance to help spoil Duke's weekend recruiting festivities with the Boozer twins. On Friday night, Love and the No. 12 Wildcats face the No. 2 Blue Devils in Cameron Indoor Stadium, the inspiration for Cameron Boozer's name.

UNC's 2025 offer sheet consists of the Boozer twins plus seven other composite five-star prospects: guard Darryn Peterson, guard Jasper Johnson, forward AJ Dybantsa, forward Isiah Harwell, forward Koa Peat, forward Caleb Wilson, and forward Bryson Tiller.
