NBA free agency has already seen a few big names either hit the open market or agree to a contract extension with their current team.

In other scenarios, trades have occurred, sending players who are already under contract to a new home.

Such was the case for former North Carolina standout Reggie Bullock, who, on Wednesday, was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in a three-team deal.

San Antonio also received an unprotected pick swap with Dallas in 2030.

Also involved in the deal were the Boston Celtics, who sent Grant Williams to Dallas and received multiple future second-round picks.

Bullock recently completed his second season with the Mavericks and his 10th season in the NBA. In 78 games with the Western Conference member, he averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds.

His 30.3 minutes per game were a career-high and his 38 percent three-point percentage ranked second on the roster.

Bullock will provide consistent shooting and a veteran presence for a San Antonio squad that is on the upswing of a rebuild.

Doug McDermott, who ranked 17th in three-point percentage, and Devin Vassell, who shot 38.7 percent from beyond the arc, were the only Spurs to sit above Bullock and in the top-100.

Bullock joins Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens as non-rookies to join San Antonio this offseason, as all three were required via trade.

He has now been a part of seven different organizations and will hit free agency in 2024.

How will Bullock make an impact in San Antonio and help the Spurs with their rebuild?
