Chicago Bulls guard Coby White's confidence continues to grow. It's now to the point the 23-year-old UNC basketball product's progression as a pro is drawing comparisons to that of Steph Curry.

As the Die-Hard Chicago Bulls Fans account noted, White and Curry are phenomenal shooters at the point, they were drafted at No. 7 overall (White in 2019 and Curry in 2009), and both grew up in North Carolina.

Furthermore, remember that Curry didn't earn his first NBA All-Star nod as a Golden State Warriors sensation until his fifth season in the league when he was 25. White is now in his fifth season.

Sure, White has a long ways to go and many championship rings to attain before becoming a legend like Curry. But his shooting prowess of late, not to mention his noticeably improved handles and craftiness in finding his own shot off the dribble, suggests he has his eyes set on carving out such a career path.

And the Chicago Bulls' official social media team is hyping him up as worthy candidate to make his NBA 3-Point Contest debut while opining that he's "putting the league on notice."

In Thursday night's 124-116 win at the Miami Heat, Coby White finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, and zero turnovers across his 40 minutes on the floor. Phenomenal. He shot 9-for-20 from the field and 4-for-11 beyond the arc, extending his franchise-record streak to 13 games with at least three 3-point makes.

He's now shooting 42.8 percent from deep for the season. Curry's fifth-year 3-point percentage? 42.4.

The victory over the Heat was White's 13th straight outing with at least 14 points and fourth straight with 24 or more. He's now averaging a career-high 17.1 points per game for a Bulls squad (10-16) that still has plenty of room to climb in the standings but has won five of its past seven contests.

Next up for the Bulls is another meeting with the Heat in Miami, tipping at 8 p.m. ET Saturday.
