The 77th edition of the NBA Draft will take place on Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Former North Carolina standout Leaky Black has NBA aspirations and could very well see that dream come true. The lockdown defender has seen his offensive game grow, particularly in his fifth season in Chapel Hill, making him a potential rotation piece in the future.

This past season, Black averaged a career-high 7.3 points 6.5 rebounds, while serving as the best defensive asset for the Tar Heels.

Draft boards don't have a consensus opinion on Black, but he appears to be headed for a late second round selection or the route of an undrafted free agent.

CBS Sports' Kyle Boone has Black ranked as the No. 74 overall prospect and going undrafted on Thursday. Yahoo Sports' Krysteen Peek believes he will also go undrafted.

The final few selections of the draft are always uncertain, but Black may find himself with the ability to choose where he lands up.

So far, he has completed workouts with the likes of Atlanta, Washington, Boston, and Golden State.

Multiple undrafted free agents have found a roster spot and success over the last few seasons and Black may do so as a beneficiary of a two-way contract.

As the draft nears, will Black get drafted and where will he end up in his first season as a pro?
