In his first year as a UNC basketball player and first time facing archrival Duke on Saturday night, Harrison Ingram eclipsed the 20-point mark for the first time since transferring from Stanford. The 21-year-old junior and full-time starter finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds, four steals, and one block in his team-high 39 minutes.

Now, he stands alongside 1993 UNC national champion George Lynch as the only Tar Heels to ever tally at least 20 points, 13 boards, and four takeaways in a single outing.

And Ingram finished 5-for-9 from downtown against Duke, marking the first time he's every knocked down that many 3-pointers in any college game, whether as a Tar Heel or Cardinal.

His brilliant all-around effort helped power No. 3 UNC (18-4, 10-1 ACC) to a 93-84 home victory over the now-No. 9 Blue Devils (16-5, 7-3 ACC). Moreover, it ensured Ingram the first ACC Player of the Week honor of his career on Monday, sharing the distinction with NC State graduate guard DJ Horne.

Across two games last week, the 6-foot-7, 225-pound Texas native averaged 14.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and only 1.5 turnovers.

Harrison Ingram is now the third UNC basketball talent to win ACC Player of the Week this go-round, along with a two-time winner in graduate center Armando Bacot and the conference's lone three-time winner in senior guard RJ Davis.

Altogether, a Tar Heel has snagged the award in six of the 13 weeks it has been handed out this season. But this is the first time UNC has done it in back-to-back weeks, as Davis did so last Monday.
