Despite the college basketball world rushing to the transfer portal to fill its rosters for next year, UNC hasn't forgotten about the high school market.

The Tar Heels have extended an offer to Brady Dunlap, a three-star recruit in the class of 2023, per Inside Carolina.

Dunlap, a native of Studio City, California, stands at 6-foot-7 and is the 128th best player in his class, according to 247 Sports. The senior signed with Notre Dame in November, but requested a release from his National Letter of Intent in January after Mike Brey's announcement to retire at the end of the 2022-23 season.

He primarily plays at the wing position and can knock down threes and mid-range shots with his high, quick release. Dunlap has also shown the ability to create his own shot with shot fakes, dribble moves and downhill strides to the basket.

UNC has four open scholarship spots available for the next season. Should Dunlap commit and sign, he'll join four-stars Simeon Wilcher and Zayden High who make up the 17th best 2023 recruiting class in the nation, per 247 Sports.
