Elliot Cadeau committed to Hubert Davis and North Carolina on Dec. 28, aiding the Tar Heels in their quest for the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in 2024.

Then, in late May, Cadeau announced his decision to reclassify and head to Chapel Hill for the upcoming season. Even with the reclassification, Cadeau was ranked as the No. 11 overall recruit and No. 2 point guard in his class.

In the months since, Cadeau has attended team workouts and practices and it appears he is headed for a freshman season to remember.

In a workout with renowned trainer Chris Brickley, Cadeau showcased his hops, throwing down a one-handed dunk, hitting his head on the backboard in the process. (via Inside Carolina's Grant Hughes)

Although Cadeau is lauded for his true-point guard ability, he can get to the basket and score with what looks like authority.

The freshman guard is expected to start in a loaded backcourt alongside senior R.J. Davis, as North Carolina looks to bounce back from a disappointing 2022-2023 campaign.

What kind of impact will Cadeau have in his first, and perhaps only, season in Chapel Hill?
