Mack Brown and the UNC football staff have been lighting up the recruiting trail, particularly in the class of 2024, securing 11 commitment since the beginning on June.

In total, the Tar Heels have amassed 24 pledges in the rising senior class, but they may not be done yet.

Four-star receiver Alex Taylor, a native of Greensboro, is set to announce his decision on Saturday.

On June 28, Taylor listed North Carolina among his finalists of NC State, Clemson, Penn State, and Virginia Tech.

The 6-foot-2 pass catcher is rated as the No. 26 receiver and the No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina.

As a junior, Taylor paced Grimsley High School in receptions, hauling in 65 passes for 1,034 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also tallied 11 tackles on defense, spending time as a two-way player.

Currently, the Tar Heels hold the No. 22 recruiting class for 2024. With the addition of Taylor, they would add their third receiver in the class and their highest-rated commitment in the cycle.

Taylor currently holds one Crystal Ball prediction from Michael Clark, a NC State Insider. Clark predicts that Taylor will ultimately head to Chapel Hill.

Can North Carolina beat out powerhouses and rivals for the services of the four-star wideout?
