Carter has agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks for his 22nd and final NBA season. The 42-year old will provide a veteran presence for one of the league's most exciting young rosters, and in the process, will become the first player to play in four different decades, per Elias Sports Bureau.
Carter averaged 7.4 points off the bench last season for the Hawks while still playing above the rim.

Isaiah Hicks is headed to Russia after signing with BC Avtodor, a club in the at the nation's highest level. Hicks showed some promise in NBA Summer League, averaging 9.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in five games with Charlotte Hornets, but didn't receive a deal.
