Free agency is in full swing in the National Football League just one month ahead of the draft.

With that, another former Tar Heel has found a new home ahead of the 2023-2024 season.

After a career-best season with Las Vegas, Super Bowl champion Mack Hollins is signing a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, according to CBS Sports' Taylor Vippolis.

Hollins recorded a career-high 57 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns in his third and final season with the Raiders. The 29-year old ranked second on the roster in receiving yards and touchdowns, second to only Davante Adams.

A 2017 fifth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, Hollins is a six year veteran and has tallied 113 receptions and 1,440 yards in 82 career games.

Hollins came to Chapel Hill in 2013 as a walk-on, appearing in all 13 games on special teams, where he was named a captain. He would emerge as a receiving threat during his sophomore season, as he hauled in 35 passes for 613 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns.

In 2015, the 6-foot-4 wideout recorded a career-best 745 receiving yards and led all Power Five schools with 24.8 yards per catch.

After his senior campaign was cut short due to injury in 2016, Hollins ended his career at North Carolina with 81 receptions for 1,667 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Hollins will join the wide receiver room in Atlanta alongside Drake London and Olamide Zaccheaus. Can Hollins build off of his successful season as he returns to the NFC?
