Myles Dorn: "If you’re scared to compete, then you have no place in this game"

The senior safety is looking forward to Saturday's challenge

North Carolina safety Myles Dorn was recruited by Clemson and admitted that if he weren't in Chapel Hill, he'd likely be suiting up for the Tigers.

He knows exactly what the Tar Heels are up against this week with the defending champions in town.

"If you’re scared to compete, then you have no place in this game," Dorn said. "Our thing is just going out and compete for four quarters, don’t worry about the score, just go out and play ball and do what we’ve got to do. When the smoke clears, the team that played better that day will win."

He also had plenty to say about Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his top targets at receivers Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins.

"They’re 6-5, they’re long; so that’s one thing they have," he said. "They run great routes, they’re great athletes; that’s two, and they have a future No. 1 draft-pick throwing them the ball. So, it’s not too many overthrows, it’s not too many under-thrown balls. When you have somebody good throwing the ball to 6-5 receivers, it’s a good little deal they’ve got going on."
