North Carolina receives crystal ball for in-state receiver
Mack Brown and the UNC football staff have been on a tear on the recruiting trail as of late, securing 12 total commitments since the beginning of June.
North Carolina has seen their recruiting class for 2024 rise to No. 22 in the country and fourth in the ACC.
According to Michael Clark of 247 Sports, their luck may continue, as he added in a crystal ball for the Tar Heels to land four-star receiver Alex Taylor.
Clark has been correct on all 16 crystal balls in 2023 and 88.9 percent all-time.
Taylor, out of Grimsley High School in Greensboro, is rated as the No. 154 overall recruit and the No. 26 wide receiver by 247 Sports.
In 26 games with the Whirlies in 2022, Taylor showcased why he is one of the most coveted receivers, hauling in a team-high 65 passes for 1,034 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Late last month, the UNC football target set a commitment date of July 29th.
The Tar Heels made his list of five finalists alongside Clemson, NC State, Penn State, and Virginia Tech.
Adding in Taylor would give North Carolina 25 commits in the class of 2024 and certainly catapult them up the rankings.
As it stands, Taylor's crystal ball to Chapel Hill is the lone one submitted.
Will the Tar Heels continue their hot stretch and land the four-star wideout?
