In June, Christ Presbyterian Academy (Tenn.) linebacker Crews Law, the reigning Division II-AA Mr. Football in Tennessee, committed to the UNC football program. Then, on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound three-star inked his national letter of intent with the Tar Heels.

Law ranks No. 864 overall, No. 74 among linebackers, and No. 26 in Tennessee on the 247Sports 2024 Composite.

UNC football announced Law's signing via these hype videos:

After Law signed, 247Sports' Don Callahan provided the following assessment of his skillset:

"[He] is a hard-nosed, versatile linebacker who brings a menacing force into each of his tackles. The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder patiently diagnoses run directions and flows to the play. Once he identifies a clear path to the ball carrier, he explodes to his target. And, if that path is suddenly obstructed by a defender, Law can sidestep potential blocks without breaking stride."

Crews Law is a member of a 27-deep 2024 class, Mack Brown's deepest haul since his return to Chapel Hill five years ago. It ranks No. 26 in the country and No. 4 in the ACC.
