UNC Football Schedule Update for Showdown Against Miami
Next up for UNC football is Saturday's battle against the visiting Miami Hurricanes. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC), the program announced on Saturday night, hours after the Tar Heels dismantled the Syracuse Orange, 40-7, in Kenan Memorial Stadium.

No. 12 UNC (5-0, 2-0 ACC) is firing on all cylinders, giving the program its first 5-0 start since 1997.
A primetime victory in Chapel Hill over No. 25 Miami (4-1, 0-1 ACC), reeling from Saturday night's disastrous loss at Georgia Tech in the final minute, could propel the Tar Heels into the top 10 in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2021.
The Tar Heels have yet to face a ranked opponent this season. Miami will be their first.
Had the Hurricanes defeated the Yellow Jackets, Saturday night might have marked only the fifth matchup between top-15 teams in Kenan Stadium history, per GoHeels.com's Adam Lucas. As it is, the Miami game will be only the fourth time in the program's 133 seasons that a 5-0 UNC football squad has played in Chapel Hill.
