USC Basketball: Four-Star Power Forward Reveals Trojans Made Offer
After putting together the third-ranked freshman class in the nation this fall (the best such ranking ever for the program), Andy Enfield and the rest of your USC Trojans' team beyond the hardwood seem poised to continue building an exciting future.
6'11" power forward Robert Miller, a senior at Pasadena Memorial in Pasadena, Texas, revealed on his Twitter account that USC tendered him an offer to join the program ahead of the 2024-25 season. Miller remarks that the offer came on the heels of "a great talk" between himself and USC assistant coach Eric Mobley, father to Trojans-turned-Cleveland Cavaliers big men Evan and Isaiah.
Miller's Twitter profile adds that he holds an insanely impressively 3.8 GPA, which suggests that he at some point could become a future Big Ten Scholar of the Year if he does ultimately join the Trojans.
According to 247Sports, Miller is nationally ranked 41st among his class of 2024 peers, eighth at his position, and first in the Lone Star State.
He's received 13 offers in addition to the Trojans, again per 247Sports: LSU, Texas, Colorado, Alabama, Arkansas, UC Berkeley, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Texas A&M, and Washington State.
Among the 14 clubs overall who've mad offers, LSU, Texas, Colorado and Alabama are considered the top candidates for his services.
