USC Basketball: Number 1 Recruit In Class Of 2025 To Visit Trojans
Your USC Trojans men's basketball team surprised more than a handful of people when it signed Isaiah Collier -- the No. 1 prospect in the class of 2023.
Not only did Collier's arrival at USC signal a seriousness about basketball, but it illuminated the fact that Andy Enfield -- quietly in the shadow of UCLA -- has done a very nice job for the Trojans.
Looking for lightning to strike twice, the Trojans are after another highly regarded player in forward AJ Dybantsa. Most encouraging for the Trojans, reports indicate that he will visit the school this weekend.
According to 247Sports reporter Shotgun Spratling, Dybantsa will be traveling to Los Angeles for an official visit.
This is major news for USC -- and perhaps for college basketball as a whole. Dybantsa is actually a 2026 recruit, though he recently reclassified to play a year up. Even though he's a year (or two) younger than most of his peers in the same class, Dybantsa still retained his standing as the top prospect in 2025.
Originally from Massachusetts, he recently moved to Napa Valley to attend Prolific Prep. The thought was that Dybantsa would benefit from playing a national schedule against a plethora of big-time competitors from across the country.
The talent he brings to the court is undeniable. Dybantsa is an extremely fluid athlete -- particularly in transition. There's a versatility to his game which is uncommon for such a young prospect.
Additionally, Dybantsa brings some real maturity. Rarely does he seem 'rushed' on the floor. Instead, he's methodical when attacking players on the offensive end of the floor.
If USC can somehow garner the commitment of Dybantsa, he'd be in the running as perhaps one of the best prospects to ever sign with USC (certainly since O.J. Mayo).
