USC Men's Basketball: Trojans Beat Montenegro Club KK SC Derby 96-87 In Exhibition
The Trojans' trip in Europe wrapped up on a high note as USC won its final game of the summer against a professional Montenegrin club.
USC defeated KK SC Derby 96-87 in an exhibition in Croatia. The Trojans swept the three game European trip that saw them play in two countries.
Junior forward Harrison Hornery led the team with his best performance of the summer. The 6'10 forward dropped 18 points and could not miss from three. Hornery ended up going 6-7 from deep.
The Trojans also showed off some highlight plays en route to the win. Isaiah Collier and Kobe Johnson who are expected to be top players on the team this year, connected on a nice drive that led to a dunk.
Collier wasn't done dunking the ball in this game. He made another highlight dunk off of a fast break drive.
Josh Morgan, who is expected to have a large role as a senior this season, also had a rim rocking dunk that started a Trojan run.
Morgan has been one of the standout performers from USC's Europe trip.
The Trojans will take the momentum and team chemistry they built in Greece and Croatia back to the States as they get ready for the season.
In its last year in the Pac-12, USC is looking to win their first regular season conference championship since 1985.
The Trojans' actual 2023-24 season starts on November 6th against Kansas State.
