USC Men's Basketball: Trojans To Be Visited By High-Ranking Senior Shooting Guard

Could he be the star of the future?

Your USC Trojans continue to welcome potential future prospects on campus as they look beyond the 2023-24 season and towards their longer-term solvency.

And they're looking to possibly recruit from the alma matter of incoming USC freshmen hoopers Bronny James and Juju Watkins, Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, to build out their next starry freshman class.

Per Joe Tipton of On3, 6'5" swingman Isaiah Elohim is set to visit Galen Center on October 20th. USC will be the final program he sees firsthand. Elohim will initially check out Villanova on September 8th, Arkansas on September 16th, and Providence on September 28th. He already has checked out Kansas, and checked out USC unofficially prior to his official visit in October.

“Isaiah Elohim is a strong-framed, long-armed wing," Tipton's On3 colleague Jaime Shaw offers. "At this stage, even with his age, production is the name of his game. He is a straight-line driver to the basket. He is confident and decisive getting downhill toward the basket. He needs to continue developing his handle with some counters and loosen up his hips. Elohim is a good rebounder and not afraid to stick his nose into the mix. He can knock down a jump shot with three-point range off the catch. Would like to see him develop his court vision and passing. Elohim is great in the mid-range, has an array of finishes, able to get to spots and knock down shots at multiple angles. A noted shot maker and point producer. Even playing with guys two and three years older, Elohim produces.”
