The USC Trojans get back on the winning track after their dominant win over the Eastern Washington State Eagles, 106-78.

It was a perfect bounce-back game for the Men of Troy after suffering a tough loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, and for this one, they should thank their senior guard—Boogie Ellis.

Ellis was lights out, playing his best game of the season, tying a season-high in points with 28 on 69% shooting, 80% from the three-point line, and tallied two rebounds, one assist, and two steals.

The Trojans built their largest lead of the first half by 22 with a 44-22 lead. Ellis certainly did his thing, but the others were also spectacular. Four other Trojans scored in double digits: Kobe Johnson with 12, Isaiah Collier with 15, Kijani Wright with 12, and Vincent Iwuchukwu with 13 points.

It was a team effort; however, Ellis led the way. USC is not in an ideal spot, with being kicked out of the AP Top 25 poll. But they have a ton of games left, and a win over their next opponent, the 11th-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs, could go a long way to get back in the Top 25.

Let's hope the Trojans show up big time in the Las Vegas Invitational. that starts this weekend.
