All eyes will be on the USC Trojans heading into their 2023-2024 season and with the general knowledge that Bronny James is the son of arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, the pressure will be on for them to make serious run in the next March Madness tournament.

Bronny got a taste of what it was like to be a primary offensive option for one of the first times in his young basketball last year in his senior season for Sierra Canyon High School. Losing the likes of Amari Bailey and Shy Odom meant a lot more touches for the young prince and even though SC didn't win as many games as years prior, he was able to perform quite well as he averaged about 14 points with five rebounds and three assists.

SC finished off the year with a record of 23-11 and came up short in both the CIF playoffs and state playoffs. However, Bronny's stock began to rise as scouts recognized how valuable his shooting ability and commitment on the defensive end of the floor were to his squad. ESPN's final high school rankings for the graduating class of 2023 listed him as the 20th best player in the nation.

Nonetheless, it feels like the same critics who have been praying for LeBron James to fail during his 20 years in the NBA want the same for his son. Certain people continue to focus on the negative aspects of Bronny's game rather than focus on how he's been able to develop over the years. The 18-year-old guard usually stay out of the spotlight and does not address the media or noise much but he left a simple message on his Instagram story that finally did so.

"Can't wait to prove y'all wrong."

USC is set to kick off their season on November 6 in a huge matchup against Kansas State... let's see how Bronny and the rest of his squad fare.
