As the 2023-2024 college basketball season winds down, the time is coming for potential draftees to make decisions on their future.

While in some cases, it's incredibly obvious whether or not a player should declare, others are more speculative and less clear, opening the door to some difficult discourse as college athletes gamble with their future.

In the case of Bronny James, he's in a unique spot as while his potential is undeniable, he's had a slow start to his college career and is on a struggling team with multiple top-tier guards.

To that end, it's up to Bronny to take his chances on whether or not NBA teams would take fliers on his potential and or/relationship with LeBron.

When discussing it, here's what LeBron had to say (per Dave McMenamin of ESPN)

"It's up to him, it's up to the kid," James said. "We're going to go through the whole process. He's still in season now. He has the Pac-12 tournament coming up. ... We're going to weigh all options and we're going to let the kid make the decision."

Clearly, Bronny is undecided on the decision at the moment, and the outcome of USC's season could drive the decision. On one hand, perhaps he finds his footing, his minutes increase and his scouting profile becomes clearer. On the other, he could need another year to develop, which would also be understandable and likely the right decision.
