One of the biggest problems that many athletes and celebrities have is that all facets of their lives are on full display for the public. It’s not always fair, but with their success, they have opened themselves up to people to know the details of their lives.

This does include children, which can become a sensitive subject for many people. For Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, his kids have been in the limelight for a long time now. Especially being in the city of Los Angeles, extra attention is given to his personal life off the court.

His son Bronny James, his eldest, currently attends USC and is hopeful to make his college basketball debut down the line. But his other son Bryce is carving his own basketball legacy.

He recently made news this week, as he will be returning to play basketball for Sierra Canyon High School. James was at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame but now returns to the school where his brother played basketball at.

“He never played for Notre Dame. He was practicing and waiting to become eligible on Dec. 24 after transferring without moving. By returning to Sierra Canyon, he will be eligible immediately once transfer paperwork is finalized.”

Per Eric Sondheimer of The Los Angeles Times

Bryce has a lot of talent on the basketball floor, and he likely dreams of making it to the NBA like his father. But he wants to set his own legacy in doing so.

Sierra Canyon gives him a solid platform to play basketball in high school, and a place where he can refine his skills. He is only 16 years old still, so there is plenty of time for him to figure everything else out.

This is a strategic move from Bryce, but one that could pan out well for him. We wish him luck moving forward in his basketball career!
