USC Trojans redshirt senior transfer forward DJ Rodman has been a bit uneven during the start of the Southern California native's 2023-24 season overall.

That said, per USC's official Twitter/X account, there does seem to be one element that is perpetually galvanizing him to step up his game: his sister Trinity, a 5'8" forward for the NWSL's Washington Spirit.

During the home games at Galen Center DJ Rodman has played with Trinity (and usually their mom Michelle Moyer) in attendance, DJ is averaging 13 points per, and shooting 6-of-10 from long range.

Across 15 contests this year (14 starts) for your 8-8 Trojans, the 6'6" ex-Washington State University Cougar is averaging 6.5 points on .349/.396/.792 shooting splits, 4.1 rebounds, one assist, and 0.6 blocks a night. This represents a not-insignificant dip from his Washington State senior year averages of 9.6 points on .413/.381/.792 shooting splits, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.7 steals per.

DJ and Trinity are the kids of Hall of Fame combo forward Dennis Rodman, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year who won five titles during his stints with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. They grew up with their mother after she and Dennis split in nearby Newport Beach. DJ played his prep school ball at Jserra Catholic High School. It's been exciting to see DJ Rodman back in town, even though early returns have been mostly mixed.

Tell Alex, were you in the joint the night Wilt scored 100 points? Or when the Celtics won titles back-to-back and didn't give nobody no kind of slack?
