USC Basketball: DJ Rodman's Famous Family In Vegas For His Trojan Debut

The Trojan transfer isn't the only elite athlete in his family.

DJ Rodman has a few pretty well-known family members.

The fifth-year forward had as many points as he did turnovers (two of each) in his 27-minute USC debut, adding two assists, four rebounds and a block.

If you're thinking "Rodman" and "rebound" sound familiar together, it's probably because DJ's dad is NBA legend Dennis Rodman, who has the 23rd-most career rebounds in league history and won five titles with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls.

Dennis is without a doubt the most well-known family member of DJ's, but the athletic prowess did not stop with Rodman's only son.

Trinity Rodman, who plays professional soccer for the Washington Spirit, is a star in the NWSL and was on the U.S. women's team in the FIFA World Cup this year.

Rodman, who won the NWSL championship in 2021, scored five goals for the Spirit in the 2023 season and made four appearances during the World Cup.

She made another appearance courtside to get a front-row seat at the Trojans' opening night victory over the Kansas State Wildcats.

Trinity and her mother Michelle Moyer were spotted in Las Vegas as their son and sibling, respectively, made his debut for the Cardinal and Gold.

Fifth-year guard Boogie Ellis led the team with 24 points while freshman phenom Isaiah Collier scored 18 points in his college debut.

The Trojans will take on Cal State Bakersfield Thursday night at 6 p.m. PST in Galen Center.
