The Boston Celtics are currently 17-5 and sit at #1 in the NBA Eastern Conference. On top of beating the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, the team has announced they have signed an ex-Trojan rookie to a two-way contract. 

Former Trojan Drew Peterson is now part of the Celtics. Peterson went undrafted this summer after spending the past three seasons with USC. Despite not being drafted into the NBA initially, Peterson found his way to the Sioux Falls Skyforce G-League team. 

During his final year at USC, Peterson averaged 13.9 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 4.3 APG. While part of the Sioux Falls Skyforce team, Peterson also averaged 15.2 PPG 5.5 RPG 4.2 APG 1.0

Peterson will now join the Celtics, as they aim to return to the Conference Finals next season.
