USC Basketball: Former Trojan Posts Perfect Night With Timberwolves
The USC Trojans basketball program may be struggling right now; however, you can't say the same for their alumni in the NBA.
One former Trojan who had himself a game on Monday night was six-year NBA veteran guard Jordan McLaughlin.
McLaughlin, a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, helped propel his team to victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road.
The former Trojan went a perfect four-for-four from the field, including two-for-two from three. McLaughlin also dished out one assist and was a +1 on the court.
McLaughlin has played a limited role in the season, averaging only 2.6 points on 42.6% from the field, one rebound, and 1.7 assists in 9.1 minutes per game.
As a Trojan, he spent four years in Los Angeles, where he was named First-team All-Pac 12 in 2018 and was the third player in the Pac-12 to ever record more than 600 assists and 1,600 points over a career.
His time at USC was one to remember, and we're glad to see him as a critical role player in the NBA. Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.
