In this story:

Nikola Vucevic has blossomed into one of the best basketball players on Earth and when you think of centers that have revolutionized the game that we know today such as Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid, Vucevic is right there with them in terms of big men who possess guard skills. He is able to space the floor, use elite footwork to go to work in the paint and put the ball on the floor while facilitating offense for others.

However, before Vucevic became a two-time all-star and the current starting center for the Chicago Bulls, he logged three college seasons at USC. He was known as a fundamentally sound big man at the time that could use some extra athleticism when he first came in but by this third season with the Trojans, he was averaging 17 points per game to go with ten rebounds and was even named the Most Improved Player within the Pac-12 during his sophomore campaign.

And things have now come full circle for the number 16 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft as he cashed in big time with the Chicago Bulls just a couple of days ago on a huge multi-year deal.

"Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic is finalizing a three-year, $60M contract extension, his agents Bill Duffy and Rade Fillipovich tell ESPN."

Vucevic is coming off of a 2022-2023 season in the Windy City that saw him average 17 points on 52 percent  from the field, we love seeing him thrive in the pro's!
