USC Basketball: Freshman Forward Announces Jersey Number

2's up folks!

Your University of Southern California Trojans will be one of the most exciting teams to follow next year considering that Isaiah Collier will be overseeing the offense and sharing the backcourt with some marquee names in Boogie Ellis and Bronny James. USC had numerous good stretches last year but they ultimately fizzled out once the March Madness tournament rolled around and ended up losing to Michigan State in the first round.

And beyond just welcoming in Collier and James to the squad, USC will also be adding a 6'8 big man in Arrinten Page. He has widely been regarded as one of the hardest-working players in his class by multiple coaches that have overseen his development and even though he is a couple inches shorter than most centers, his strength and IQ more than make up for it.

And Page decided to follow up the recent trend of his freshman teammates and announced that he will be wearing number 22 for the Trojans this coming season!

I'm really excited to see how all forwards and centers benefit from playing alongside all of the backcourt talent that USC has compiled this year but especially Page. Collier, James and Ellis all bring forth skillsets to the court that make their teammates better and Page will certainly thrive in every pick and roll situation.

Obviously, centers can often be overlooked these days if they are not playing like Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid but Pages sticks within his role and he will play a huge role USC in the 2023-2024 season!
