Prospects like Bronny James are usually the hardest to analyze and most people don't understand just how valuable they really are unless they've played basketball before. His impact does not always show up on the stat sheet seeing that he does a lot of the dirty work and makes winning plays. He may not be a player just yet that you can give the ball to at any time and ask him to get a bucket but in crunch-time situations, he is the best at finding the player on his squad to do so.

And Bronny never really was asked to be a go-to scorer outside of some playoff games in his senior season when some key players were hurt. Take for example, Sierra Canyon fell to to Corona Centennial in the open division playoffs last year 68-63 and all anybody could talk about was how the 6'4 guard finished with just 13 points.

However, Bronny just needs to continue doing what he does best and that is looking for open catch-and-shoot three's and defending at a high-level. He'll have plenty of scoring talent around him at USC and should continue to stay within his role. But those up-and-down performances in high school have draft experts debating over what his NBA stock is looking like and they are not fully sold on him just yet.

"The biggest question mark in the 2024 draft will surround Bronny James. He’s a talented shooting guard prospect with a college-ready body, impressive athleticism, terrific feel and instincts for the game and able to make shots from three. However, he hasn’t had the most productive or consistent high school careers but the production and impact have been becoming more consistent towards the end of his senior year. Bronny did rise in our latest rankings, from Nos. 33 to 27."
