USC Basketball: Isaiah Collier Injured, Heads to Locker Room

Isaiah Collier has suffered an injury, resulting in him heading to the locker room.

The USC Trojans are currently taking on Long Beach State, and they currently lead 45-30. Star guard Isaiah Collier has been all over the court, already logging 10 points. However, it appears the young guard has suffered an injury after going for a layup.

Collier left the game before the end of the 1st period, and we are unsure of his ability to return right now. The hope is that the injury is not game-ending for the star.

The buzz around the game has been heightened by the fact that it's the debut of Bronny James. James has been given full availability and has already made his impact known with a huge block.

With Collier down, and potentially not being able to continue—that could result in James getting more time on the court.

Collier has been showcasing his elite scoring skills already, and losing him for the remainder of the game will be tragic. We truly hope that his injury is only minor and he is able to rejoin his teammates for today's game.

Thankfully, the 1st period has just ended and it could be the rest that Collier needs to head back to the court.

UPDATE
Isaiah Collier has returned to the game after game doctors cleared him to play again.
