USC Basketball: Isaiah Collier Reveals Plan for NBA Draft
After missing a month, Isaiah Collier returned to the hardwood for the USC Trojans on Wednesday night against the California Golden Bears.
Collier led all scorers with 20 points but had a miserable night when it came to efficiency. He was 4-of-13 shooting from the field but was 12-of-16 from the foul line.
After the game, Luca Evans asked Collier if he considered shutting himself down for the season at any point. Collier is considered to be a lottery pick in the NBA Draft.
Collier played a critical role in the Trojans comeback effort but USC ultimately dropped to 9-13 on the season.
The program has been decimated by injuries this season. Heading into Wednesday's game, the Trojans had missed a combined 46 games due to illness or injury. At least one projected starter had missed 10 of their 22 games.
If Collier truly hasn't decided on entering the NBA draft then it's time for him to lead the Trojans. Collier being out may have been dampening the season, but his return showcased his usual elite scoring capabilities.
Collier returning to the lineup might also be the spark the team needs to snap its current losing skid.
Up next for the Trojans is a date with Stanford on Saturday night.
