Former USC guard and Chicago Bulls All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan is still among the best in his position in year 15.

DeRozan entered the league in 2009 and has gotten increasingly better. Although he's remained a valuable asset to the three teams he's been a part of, he's been traded two times in his career.

The first was from the Toronto Raptors to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Kawhi Leonard. Two years later, during the offseason, he was traded to his current team, the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade deal.

He's been with the Bulls for the past three years; however, that could all change as we approach the NBA Trade Deadline. DeRozan has been on the chopping block for quite some time now, and there are whispers he could be moved by Thursday. How serious is the smoke?

According to Clutch Points, Brett Siegel, the Philadephia 76ers could be big players for the six-time All-Star.

Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers do not want to give up a first-round pick ahead of the trade deadline, but would be willing to do so for a player like DeMar DeRozan if the Chicago Bulls were willing to deal the star, sources said. DeRozan, who is in the final year of his contract, is not expected to be on the move.

The 76ers could be without their superstar big man and MVP Joel Embiid. So, the 76ers are prime candidates for trading for a star player like DeRozan.

The rumors about DeRozan returning to his hometown and playing for the Lakers are pretty much dead.

It's not a sure thing he will be moved, but if the Bulls receive an offer they can't refuse, then it could happen. Nothing is certain at the trade deadline, except that we don't know what will happen.

Any team would be lucky to have the former lottery pick. This season, he's [putting up 22 points per game on 46.5% shooting from the field, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.

Things will heat up as we approach Thursday. Will Derozan stay, or will he go?
