The future of USC Basketball is bright.

2024 Guard Trent Perry, who committed to USC in early November, has joined the Harvard-Westlake 1000-point club.

Perry joins a loaded recruiting class that features Liam Campbell and Brody Kozlowski, shaping up what has been ranked a top-10 recruiting class by 247Sports.

A 6-foot-4, 180-pound scoring guard, the 4-star Perry will likely look to assume the role of Boogie Ellis, who is in his final year with the program.

As much of USC's current offensive production (Ellis, Isaiah Collier, Kobe Johnson) should be headed for the NBA at season's end, expect the 3 noteworthy incoming freshmen to assume large roles. Bronny James will likely declare as well, leaving 3 major holes in the guard rotation, along with Johnson.

Currently, Harvard-Westlake sits at 11-0, with a notable matchup against Sierra Canyon High School on January 19th. Perry should continue his stellar season for the Wolverines en route to joining the Trojans next fall.
