Don't get me wrong... I think it's incredible that the top high school basketball players in the world have multiple legit options to continue their playing careers after the graduate. Scoot Henderson opted to join G-League Ignite and he was the number three pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Amen and Ausur Thompson chose to suit up for Overtime Elite and both became lottery picks as well after Henderson.

However, there is just something special about college basketball and the March Madness tournament that holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Being able to represent an entire university while playing in single-game elimination matches leads to some of the highest of levels of competition throughout sports.

And with the number one player in the graduating class of 2023, Isaiah Collier, suiting up for the Trojans this year, they will certainly be looking to make noise once March rolls around. It's not every year that USC can land the likes of Collier along with other big names such as Bronny James, Arrinten Page and more. In fact, 2023 has been ranked as their best recruiting class ever.

With that being said, Collier already has his eyes on the big dance.

"Everybody wants to play in March Madness as a college player," said Collier. "It's not gonna be easy so we're gonna need to compete from day one with all my teammates, get all them to compete. Just lead out there so you're the last one standing."

The bright lights will be nothing new for Collier and even though there are plenty of months between the beginning of the season to the NCAA tournament, his mentality shows he knows what needs to be done to get there!
