The college basketball world began reeling on July 24 when Bronny James collapsed while practicing, resulting in him having to be rushed to the hospital. The harrowing moment was likely caused by what doctors have stated as a congenital heart defect that can be treated.

Bronny is the son of NBA legend LeBron James and is certainly a chip off the old block. Bronny sent the Trojans into a frenzy when he announced he would commit to the school back in May, but had suffered his health concern months later. Thankfully, he has since been allowed to return to full action.

Though we imagine the Trojans will ease him back into the game, the team has fully announced James Jr.'s availability.

Per the USC Men's Basketball Instagram page, Bronny James will be good to go today, and we imagine his father will be in attendance.

LeBron announced that he would miss any Lakers game that coincided with his son's USC debut. That will not happen as the Lakers won the In-Season Tournament just last night. LeBron will join a sold-out crowd at the Galen Center for Bronny's debut, along with the world watching.

We hope to see him on the court for an extended period, but we also understand if he only plays for a handful of minutes. Either way, this is going to be exciting for the Trojans and the James family.

The Trojans will face off against the Long Beach State 49ers at 1 p.m. PST. The team is currently 5-3 and is hoping to improve its record at home.
